is this jacket ok to snowboard in? ?
okkkkk first time snowboarding and i wanna know if the coat i have is ok to go in..
it is 100% polyester, quilted down, ribbed cuffs and collar, fully lined sherpa interior, back tab detail, snap and double-zipper closure, welt pockets..

You could, but especially if your learning you’d probably be miserable. This jacket won’t really be that water resistant, or breathable so when you are exerting yourself you’ll get snow melt and sweat keeping you cold, further, the sleeve cuffs won’t seal around your gloves, and it may not be long enough to keep snow from going down your pants.
I wouldnt ride in it. Your gonna be soaked. Then the jacket is gonna get heavy. B/c its ur first time I would wear layers. The outer layer being light and water proof. That way you do not get miserable.
